Wow! Almost a century ago! 🙂
Osmeña Peak is Cebu’s pointed version of the Chocolate Hills. I remember going there from Obong Cold Spring in Dalaguete, where we enjoyed its refreshing cold waters in preparation for the sweaty climb up the O-Peak. Pardon my memory lapse but I think we rode a bus from Cebu City to Oslob, dropped off at Obong Cold Spring, then took a habal-habal up to a point 04where we hiked our way up the Osmeña Peak.
During the initial part of the trek, we passed by vegetable farms tended by a small village. I also love the bed of yellow wild flowers that we came across and also that cute baby cow in the photo. Being the highest peak in Cebu, the weather on our way up started to get pep up cold, and the views went into astonishing jagged mountains that will literally make your jaw drop in amazement.
We pitched our tents and camped overnight. I was sure glad we were cramped inside the tent as it was very cold and foggy at the camping site. Of course, we also enjoyed our canned companions a.k.a. dinner/snacks/breakfast.
